Cesde is a Colombian educational institution, leader in technical career training.
As part of their expansion strategy, Cesde invested in digital course offerings, which required a UX/UI role. My work involved auditing the user experience of their platforms and creating a design system that connected their entire digital ecosystem.
Design system
The challenge was creating a design system that would span all of Cesde's digital platforms. Based on the institution's brand identity, I began defining each token layer to standardize the system and achieve component consistency and scalability. I created a total of 409 tokens, all configured with Figma variables.
Components library and design interfaces
For this project, I created over 50 new components and reformed existing ones. The idea was to show progressive, subtle changes to avoid a strong impact on the institution's recurring platform users that could create a poor user experience.
In total, 40 new views were designed with this design system, including landing pages, internal systems, product interfaces, and the new virtual course e-commerce platform called E-Cesde.
